Sizing and Stretch
Three sizes, S to L, measured at 74, 75 and 76 centimetres from the shoulder point. The knit has medium stretch and recovers well, so the body of the dress will accommodate a small amount of variation in either direction.
Choose your normal size. Sizing up will not make the halter more comfortable, because the neck strap is the limiting factor, not the body. If you are tall, note that the mini length sits high.

Evening rather than daytime. Dinners that run late, clubs, birthday parties, holiday nights, the after-party half of a wedding. The knit packs flat and does not crease, so it travels well as the one going-out dress in a carry-on. Q: Can I wear a bra with a backless halter?
The back is fully open and the halter strap sits behind the neck, so a conventional bra is not possible. Most buyers wear it without one; the knit is dense enough to provide coverage and structure on its own.
Q: Will the halter strap dig in after a few hours?
It is a flat knit band rather than a cord, which spreads the load, but a halter always transfers some weight to the neck. It is comfortable for an evening, not for a twelve-hour day.

Q: Is the knit see-through?

Q: Does the open back mean the dress slips forward?
The halter construction pulls the bodice against the chest, so it does not slide forward the way a strapless backless dress does. That is the reason for the halter rather than a straight neckline.
Q: How should I wash a knit like this?
Cold hand wash and dry flat. Hanging a wet knit stretches it out of shape, and heat degrades the elastane.
