Description
A backpack is a volume problem before it is a style problem. This one is 43 by 30 centimetres, sitting in the 36 to 55 litre band, which is the size that swallows a laptop, a change of clothes and a day of supplies without turning into luggage. The nylon shell is light enough that the bag does not weigh more than what you put in it, and dense enough that a shower rolls off instead of soaking through.
The polka dot print is what makes it memorable, and the layout is deliberately graphic rather than cute: high contrast dots on a dark ground, with a piano-key detail that echoes a keyboard across the front panel. It is a bag that reads from across a platform, which is useful when you are trying to spot your own luggage on a carousel that has three identical black rucksacks on it.
Construction is straightforward and repairable. Nylon main body, polyester lining, a two-way zip closure, and adjustable shoulder straps with a top grab handle. The interior is one open compartment with a slip pocket, which is honest: this is not an organiser bag with fifteen sleeves, it is a volume bag with a print. Packing cubes do the organising better than sewn pockets anyway.
Three colourways: black, white, and blue. The black is the one that travels; the white is the one that gets photographed. Both are the same bag, and both fold flat into a drawer when the trip is over.
Volume, a print, and nothing to maintain. That is a bag that gets used.

Where it gets carried
It belongs to the student week, the gym run, the weekend flight with hand luggage only, and the market trip where the bags you brought were never big enough. Because the shell is nylon and the print is dark-grounded, it survives being set down on concrete, and the size clears most cabin allowances when it is not overstuffed.
Capacity and weather questions
Q: Will it hold a 15 inch laptop?
Yes, the 43 cm width and 30 cm height clear a 15 inch machine with room for a sleeve. There is no dedicated padded compartment, so use a laptop sleeve inside the main body.
Q: Is it waterproof?
Water resistant. The nylon sheds rain and a wet bench, but the zips are not taped and the seams are not sealed. In heavy rain, put a rain cover over it or accept that the outer fabric will wet out.
Q: How much can it actually carry?
The 36 to 55 litre band covers a change of clothes plus a laptop plus a water bottle comfortably. Past about 10 kilograms the shoulder straps start to remind you that this is a day bag, not a hiking pack.
Q: Does the print crack or peel?
No. The dots are part of the fabric print rather than a heat transfer, so there is nothing to peel. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and avoid solvents.
Q: Can it be used as a cabin bag?
At 43 x 30 cm it fits within most cabin limits when packed sensibly. Airline allowances vary, so check your carrier before you rely on it.
Q: Does the piano-key detail mean anything?
It is a graphic motif across the front panel, chosen because the vertical keys break up the polka dot field and give the bag a recognisable front when seen from a distance.
Q: Is there a laptop sleeve or water bottle pocket?
No. The interior is one open compartment with a slip pocket. Add a padded sleeve for a laptop and a bottle carrier if you need them, which keeps the bag light when you do not.
